Two parody anime series spin-offs from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya have been announced in the October issue of Gekkan Shonen Ace Magazine.

Puyo's 4-koma gag manga, "Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu," and Utsura Uraraka's 4-koma "Nyoron Churuya-san" doujinshi - based on the supporting character Tsuruya - will both be adapted into "short" series to be distributed on YouTube.
