Eleven Arts and FUNimation announced that Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone will hit at least 77 screens in North America over the summer. The film is the first of a four-part remake of the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series. FUNimation is currently streaming an English-dubbed trailer for the film on its website.

Evangelion 1.0 runs 98 minutes, and received a PG-13 rating from the MPAA. The film will debut at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, on July 2nd. Its run will continue through Seattle, Houston, Phoenix, Riverside, Boston, and San Diego - where the film will play at Comic-Con International and in local theaters. The film is slated to hit 67 screens in Canada on September 30th.
