Madhouse founder and producer Masao Maruyama revealed that his studio is currently working on a new web anime, titled Ninja Ten Battles. Maruyama describes the plot as being about "a guy in drag with a sword who fights ninjas." While no premiere date was given, Maruyama revealed that Ninja Scroll creator Yoshiaki Kawajiri is working on the series.
