Kadokawa Pictures USA revealed that Nozomi Entertainment acquired the license to distribute Rental Magica from Kadokawa USA. The series will be released across two 12-episode DVD sets, with the first volume slated to ship in fall 2009. Currently, no further details are known about the license.

Rental Magica is a 2007 comedy based on the novels of the same title by Makoto Sanda. The series was directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (L/R: Licensed by Royalty, Chrono Trigger: Nuumamonjya!), and animated by Zexcs (Kamichu!, Mushi-shi).
