ADV Films revealed that Sentai Filmworks acquired the rights to Hokuto no Ken Raoh Gaiden: Ten no Haoh. The 13-episode series will be released in a single DVD set on September 15. The series will be localized by ADV Films with English subtitles.

The series is an adaptation of Youkow Osada's Ten no Haoh - Hokuto no Ken Raoh Gaiden, which ran from 2006 to 2007 in Weekly Comic Bunch magazine, and spanned five volumes. The series is a side-story to the popular Fist of the North Star that focuses on the antagonist, Raoh.
