TOKYOPOP announced that they will publish Megane Kikuya's .hack//LINK ~Kokon no Kishidan~ manga. The series will tie into Namco Bandai's upcoming .hack//LINK video game, which will mark the end of the .hack franchise. No further details were revealed.

In addition to the manga, Bandai will produce a CG anime tie-in. The game itself will hit Japanese stores in February.

TOKYOPOP published a majority of the other .hack manga titles, including .hack//G.U.+, .hack//XXXX, and .hack//4Koma.
