Discotek Acquires Galaxy Express 999, Project A-Ko, Others
Discotek media announced that they licensed the Galaxy Express 999 and Adieu Galaxy Express 999 anime films. The company also acquired the rights to the Project A-Ko anime film, and the live-action adaptations of Shura Yukihime (The Princess Blade) and Aquarian Age.
The Galaxy Express 999 films were originally released in America by Viz, while Project A-Ko was licensed by Central Park Media. ADV originally held the rights to Shura Yukihime.
