FUNimation announced that they acquired the domestic rights to several new titles. The company licensed the Fafner anime series and its follow-up film Sokyu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven adn Earth, as well as Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror. All of the announced titles will be released in 2012.

Fafner was originally released in the west by Geneon Entertainment.
